MSC Cruises latest newbuilding MSC Magnifica is arriving on March 05th, 2010 in Hamburg.
The christening ceremony will be held on March 06th, 2010 at Hamburg’s St. Pauli Landungsbrücken. Godmother of the vessel will be Sophia Loren.

Shortly after arriving in the port of Hamburg the first excursion vessel is joining MSC Magnifica for her maiden arrival in Hamburg.
MSC Magnifica is looking splendid in the sun.
What an impression…. an Airbus Beluga freighter is arriving at Airbus’ plant in Hamburg Finkenwerder just when MSC Magnifica is passing by.
As you can see this vessel has an extraordinary high number of balconies.
Shortly after passing the Finkenwerder pilot station the vessel is escorted by a firefighting vessel making a fountain.
